It is essential to Thornton Hall Country Park that as many families as possible (particularly those with additional needs) are able to enjoy and fully experience the magic of the interactive Christmas events on offer.
“Just Be You” sessions are back for 2025 – smaller groups and lengthier time slots, making it easier for anyone needing to take their time to adapt to their surroundings, and for those that may not be at ease with noise and/or larger groups.  So relax and enjoy an easier, comfortable, stress-free event.

Perfect for: Those who need a little time to adjust to their surroundings or children with additional needs or sensory requirements.

Father Christmas: A personal visit with the man himself and gift included.

Duration: from 110 minutes to 120 minutes plus soft play.

Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your slot time.

Soft Play and Diner: is included for 90 minutes AFTER your adventure. Slot times from 5pm onwards will have access to soft play and The Diner BEFORE their adventure. Soft play will be with other visitors and not limited to the Just Be You. 

Important info: Anyone arriving late to their adventure will not be able to partake and no refunds will be given.

THE GATEKEEPER’S LODGE

Stand before the ancient gates, where the kindly Gatekeeper awaits. Only with your help can the shimmering portal be unlocked, granting you passage into a realm where Christmas magic comes alive.

MOTHER CHRISTMAS KITCHEN

Your first stop in the village is Mother Christmas’s warm and welcoming kitchen, where the air is rich with the scent of cinnamon and spice. Here, you’ll join her in one of her most cherished Christmas traditions, baking!

THE ENCHANTED STUDY

Nestled at the very heart of the village lies a secret, ancient study, home to a mystical keeper. Within these enchanted walls, the very magic of Christmas is preserved and contained.. prepare to witness the magic for yourself.

WINTERBLOOM HOLLOW

Venture into Winterbloom Hollow and gather nature’s treasures from the forest floor to craft a special creation for the festive celebrations.

THE YULETIDE TREEPI

A towering Christmas tree rises high into the peaks of the treepi. Gather with your fellow adventurers and hang your heartfelt wishes upon the magical branches.. for it is whispered the enchantment of the tree makes wishes come true.

FATHER CHRISTMAS

Journey to the top of the Yuletide Village, where Father Christmas awaits in his twinkling, firelit lodge. He’s eager to hear tales of your magical adventure through the village, and for the small humans, he has a special gift.

GREENLANDS EXPRESS

After seeing Father Christmas, climb aboard the Greenlands Express for a magical journey to meet Father Christmas’ magnificent deer, before your ride whisks you back to the human world.
Inside soft play with slides galore, climbing volcano and more.

SOFT PLAY

After your adventure you will have a limited time slot 90 minutes into the soft play area.
Please note that slot times from 5pm onwards will have access to soft play and The Diner BEFORE their adventure.
This is included within your ticket price.

FESTIVE FOOD!

Feast in The Diner after your adventure. We have a selection of hot and cold food available to purchase, along with a range of festive specials.

  • Tickets required / pre-booking essential.
  • All adults must attend with their children and purchase a ticket.
  • Just be You lasts approx 125 – 135 minutes depending upon the requirements of the group
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior.
  • Maximum numbers per group = Reduced to 16 for ‘Just Be You’ sessions.
  • Free  disabled parking. Limited availability. 
  • Maximum numbers per group = Approx 16.
  • Prams and pushchairs are not permitted on The Adventure but can be left in reception Lockers are onsite which you can store your items and charge phones. (chargeable) . 
  • Wrap up warm! Hats, scarves, and boots are recommended.
  • Food is not included.
  • The Christmas Adventure is an immersive experience, including theatrical smoke & haze, scents, areas of reduced lighting, flashing lights, moments of loud noise and snow effects. We advise you contact a member of the team before booking should you have any concerns regarding the use of these effects.
  • We endeavour for all experiences to be accessible. However, due to The Greenlands Express  (ride), we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users unless they are able to independently transfer to the vehicle. This is a ride to the deer park. This section can not be reached without the vehicle. Unfortunately, this section of the adventure will be missed if independent transfer is not possible
  • A booking fee will be added to each transaction.
  • Season tickets, passes, vouchers, blue light discounts, school/party offers or any discount/promotional codes are NOT valid for any of our Christmas Events.
  • Your ticket includes Farm Park admission with limited activities and rides. Open from 10am.
  • The soft play is included in your ticket price for a limited time only.
  • Food and drink will be available at various places around the farm park for you to purchase.
  • Please check your booking is correct. Tickets are non-refundable / non-transferable.
