During your experiences you’ll meet a few festive characters but nothing scary. We recommend our Christmas experiences for all ages (0 – 100!). Bring the whole family!

Father Christmas will be present for all of our Christmas experiences.

Yes! This year the farm and soft play is bookable separately to the Christmas Adventure. Tickets can be booked via our farm park website. www.thorntonhallfarm.co.uk 

Your Christmas Adventure tickets do allow a limited time slot in the soft play area and access to the farm animals. 

No. Tickets can be purchased online for all our Christmas experiences.

Yes – all tickets for Christmas experiences will be available to purchase online from September.

Entry is not allowed without a pre booked ticket.

No. Sorry. Walk-ins are not available for the Adventures.

If you wish to add another person to your booking you must do so online. This can only be done if the day and time slot are still available.

If available this will be subject to an additional booking fee.

We CAN NOT add people over the phone, email, or messenger.

If the slot is booked up please do not bring extra people with you. They will not be able to attend the Adventure / Experience

No. Children can not be left unattended on The Adventure. All adults must attend with their children and purchase a ticket.

No.  It is NOT possible to visit Father Christmas in his Grotto unless you are booked onto one of our experiences.

There are approximately 22 people in each session for The Adventure (children/adults).

Our ‘Just be You’ sessions are approx 16 people.

Our Mini Adventure is approx 16 people. 

Your ticket includes Farm Park admission with limited activities and rides.

Open from 10am.

The soft play is for a limited time only after your adventure/experience. You will be able to stay in the soft play area for an additional 90 minutes.

If your Adventure slot is 5pm or later you may visit soft play and the diner 90 minutes before your adventure start time. 

We do not recommend you leave half-way through the experience.

If it is urgent, please speak to an elf or member of the team.

No.  Season tickets, passes, vouchers, blue light discounts, school/party offers or any discount/promotional codes are NOT valid for any of our Christmas Events.

Please refer to the timeline on the specific event as each adventure/experience is different.

We request that visitors arrive 10 minutes before the start of their scheduled time slot.

We request that visitors arrive AT LEAST 10 minutes before the start time of their scheduled time slot.  It is essential the experiences start on time to ensure you do not miss any part of your experience.

If you arrive late we are unable to guarantee you can join your slot/group on the adventure.

If our adventure is sold out we are also unable to move you to a later time slot so please do not be late.

If you arrive late, you may be denied entry and no refund will be given.

A luxury drink is provided upon arrival to the enchanted Tipi (The Adventure and Just Be You only)

Food can be purchased at the end of your adventure at various locations throughout the farm park.

This is a rural based visitor attraction. Whilst we endeavour to make sure as many areas as possible are heated, we would recommend bringing outdoor clothing and suitable footwear, hats and gloves.

Christmas jumpers and hats are encouraged.

We politely ask that you do not film our adventure and upload it to social media. Short reels, stories and snippets are acceptable on mobile phones only.

Filming can only commence with prior written consent from the THCP marketing team. 

Please feel free to take as many photos as you wish of your experience.  All visitors will be provided with plenty of time to have their photo with Father Christmas. Make sure you tag us on your social media. #THCPmakingmemories

We may also have a photographer/videographer onsite. These images will be used on our website and social media. If you wish to be excluded, please let a member of the team know upon arrival.

All areas of the farm can be accessed by wheelchair users and those with additional needs.  Please do not hesitate to contact us in advance if you have any concerns with regard to access.

Just Be You sessions are available to book for those with additional needs (smaller groups, lengthier sessions).  It is intended that these will allow visitors (and their families) to take time to adapt to their surroundings to allow for a more comfortable, stress-free event.

Always ask the team if you need any assistance.

Carers can attend with proof of a Disabled Carer’s ID (1:1). ** complete at time of booking – ID will be requested on your arrival at the Farm Park.

A choice of food and drinks will be available to purchase from our Diner.

It is your responsibility to advise us of any special requirements. 

Each family / group will receive a small amount of time in a 1:1 setting with Father Christmas in his magical grotto.

This is on the Adventure and Just Be You only.

Time is provided for you to have your photo(s) with the Man in Red (so don’t forget your camera!)

The Mini Adventure you will see Father Christmas in a group setting inside Mother Christmas’ kitchen.

We endeavor for all experiences to be accessible. However, due to the nature of The Greenlands vehicle, we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users on the ride to visit the deer unless they are able to independently transfer to the vehicle.

We will be asking everyone to leave their pushchairs in the reception before starting your experience. 

If you have ordered any additional items such as a Santa Letter or pyjama’s they will be available to collect on the day of your adventure.
